Warrior Archery Program

Enjoy being outdoors while learning new archery skills or honing your aim. We welcome beginners, experts, and everybody in between of all ages. Coaches are available to provide free tips and guidance and ensure the safety of all participants.

Eligibility

Our Archery Program supports families registered with any program at UAII, or any American Indian family that would like to learn about the sport of archery.

We also welcome community members who just enjoy coming out and shooting with our group. Check back for the General Waiver and join us to learn the traditions and skills of archery!

Programs for Archers of All Ages

Our Junior Olympic Archery Development Program is designed for youth 5-18. As long as you can pull the bow, you can participate. We have a variety of bows available for use during our club practices. Our Adult Archery Program is open to anyone of any age that would like to participate.

Both our youth and adult programs provide access to equipment, free coaching, and awards to encourage advancement. As your proficiency improves, you can also get access to more advanced gear.

Equipment

Youth and adult program members have access to equipment for use.

Free Certified Coaching

All of our coaches are certified through USA Archery and they’re here to help you become a better shooter.

Awards and Incentives

Our youth and adult programs offer the opportunity to earn pins that show your level of proficiency and access new levels of equipment as you progress.

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome experienced archers and those who want to donate their time and expertise to help others learn the tradition of archery.

Archery Club Orientation

You will not be able to shoot until you have gone through both the Safety Brief and completed the General Waiver. If this will be your first time shooting with us, please arrive one hour early to complete both. If you arrive late, you may not be able to shoot until after lunch.

We shoot at El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach, CA, the range that was used for the 1984 Olympics.

USA Archery Partnership

We’re grateful for our partnership with USA Archery.
