Dreamcatcher Cheer Team

In collaboration with Inter Tribal Sports, we’ve created a “Super” Cheer group comprised of American Indian girls from a variety of tribal communities throughout Southern California. The program is free and available to American Indian youth ages 5-18 throughout the Los Angeles area.

Join our Dreamcatcher Team!

We started with just three young ladies whose older siblings were on our basketball team. From that small group, our Dreamcatcher cheer program has grown quickly and taken on an identity all its own. Join us today and be part of the team!

  • Open to American Indian youth ages 5-18 in Los Angeles.
  • No fees required to participate.
  • Uniforms are provided.

How to Join the Cheer Team

Our cheer program usually aligns with the football season in the Fall. Through our partnership with Inter Tribal Sports, there may also be other activities throughout the year.

In 2024, we plan to offer Dance as well as Cheer and we’ll participate in competitions with the Youth Cheer and Dance Alliance (YCADA).

In order to participate in the Dreamcatcher Cheer Team, you first must register with American Indian Clubhouse. The registration for the American Indian Clubhouse can be found on our Youth Programs page.

ITS Partnership

We’re grateful for our partnership with Inter Tribal Sports.
