Join the American Indian & Alaska Native Voices on Vaccines Community Listening Circle, a space for Native adults in Los Angeles County to share their thoughts, experiences, and perspectives on vaccines. Your feedback will help support more culturally respectful outreach and messaging around vaccine confidence in our communities.

This month, UAII is highlighting the Yuchi Tribe and sharing a glimpse into traditions that continue to connect generations, community, and culture.
From the community tradition of stickball, to the Green Corn Ceremony and Buffalo Dance, Yuchi cultural practices carry stories of strength, connection, spirituality, and a deep relationship with the land and community.

The Muscogee Nation is hosting a Southern California Outreach on Saturday, August 22, from 9 AM–3 PM at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa Hotel – Catalina Ballroom.
Community members can connect with Tribal Administrators, National Council, and representatives from Muscogee Nation departments and programs to learn more about available resources, services, and opportunities.

August is Children`s Eye Health and Safety Month 👁️💙
Healthy vision helps children learn, play, and grow. This month, let`s make eye health a priority by encouraging regular eye exams, protecting little eyes during sports and outdoor activities, and teaching healthy screen habits.
Early detection can make a lifelong difference. Together, we can help ensure every child has the opportunity to see a brighter future.
UAII’s Workforce Development team is excited to offer a new series focused on building financial knowledge and confidence. Join us for sessions covering identity theft protection, safe driving, credit & debt management, and raising financially smart kids.
