At the UAII Primary Care Clinic, you can access confidential STI testing, prevention services, and culturally centered care in a welcoming environment. As of July 1, 2026, eligible American Indian/Alaska Native clients may receive up to a $30 incentive card when they come in for STI testing.

UAII is honored to partner with Indigenous educator Thosh Collins for a monthly Indigenous Men’s Healing Circle, a space created for Indigenous men and young men to connect, reflect, heal, and grow together.
Through movement, guided visualization, ceremony, and meaningful conversations, participants will explore identity, wellness, sobriety, relationships, leadership, and cultural responsibility while building strong connections with other Indigenous relatives.

As conversations around America`s 250th anniversary continue, it`s important to recognize that Indigenous Peoples have lived on these lands since time immemorial. Our histories, languages, cultures, and nations existed long before the United States and continue to thrive today.
Native history is not confined to the past. It lives through our communities, our languages, our traditions, our youth, and our Elders. It is reflected in the resilience of Tribal Nations and in the generations who continue to lead, create, heal, and preserve culture for the future.
Our story is living. Our story is enduring. Our story continues.

✨ Meet Our People`s Home Pow Wow Head Staff!
We`re honored to introduce Head Young Woman Cha$haxwene-t ClearHands!
A descendant of the Kupaanxywichem/Cupeno people and the Northern Ute Tribe, Cha$haxwene-t has been dancing since she learned to walk. Her passion for Fancy Shawl, Jingle Dress, and traditional Bird Dance reflects a lifelong commitment to honoring her culture and sharing her medicine with communities across Indian Country.
Please join us in welcoming Cha$haxwene-t and thanking her for sharing her knowledge, spirit, and aloha with our community. We are grateful to have her serve as Head Young Woman at this year`s UAII People`s Home Pow Wow. ❤️🪶
This weekend, our UAII team had the honor of traveling to Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the capital of the Muscogee Nation, to connect with the urban Native community, share resources, and build new relationships.
Our goal was simple. To let relatives know that if they have family, friends, or loved ones in the Los Angeles area, UAII is here to support them. Every conversation, every shared story, and every new connection helps strengthen the circle between our communities.
