Charlene Harrison is a member of the Pomo, Paiute, Navajo tribes and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Charlene Harrison became the Chief Executive Officer of United American Indian Involvement in September 2023.
Charlene attended Mills College in Oakland California where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Business Administration.
Charlene has worked in urban Indian health for over 17 years and is a current bard member of the California Consortium of Urban Indian Health (CCUIH). She brings to UAII her experience and training in health center operations and knowledge of federally qualified health centers and urban Indian health matters.
We provide access to culturally-sensitive healthcare, clinical services, case management, and health education.
We offer evidence-based and culturally appropriate programs for substance use, workforce development, elder services, and much more.
Since our founding, we’ve delivered programs that promote the growth and well-being of our youth while passing on our cultural knowledge and tribal values.
