Janice has dedicated 19 years to the noble profession in Health Care as a Registered Nurse. Throughout this journey, she has contributed her expertise in various specialized fields: Liver transplant unit and Heart Unit: Her tenure in these departments showcased her commitment to patient care, where her compassion and meticulous care directly impacted patients’ lives. She collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Staff Development and Education: As a passionate educator, Janice nurtured and on-boarded new caregivers. She also led initiatives throughout 12 clinics that led to a decrease in re-hospitalization, increased patient satisfaction and decreased employee turnover. She is big on Team Building. Patient Care Supervisor: Janice spearheaded the establishment of a thriving clinic. Starting with 2 providers, she transformed it into a bustling clinic serving over 150 patients daily with 9 providers on board. Currently, Janice thrives as a Charge Nurse at a high-acuity Urgent Care. Her ability to remain calm under pressure and make critical decisions Impacting patients during vulnerable moments. Beyond the hospital walls, she finds solace in nature hiking with her loyal canine companion and turning pages of a book where she finds interest in.
