Historic Night at the Hollywood Christmas Parade
December 1st, 2024
Last night, UAII made history as the first-ever Indigenous float participated in the 92nd Hollywood Christmas Parade!
This incredible milestone was made possible by the support of Indigx Productions, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership. The night was more than just a parade—it was a powerful statement of representation and visibility for Indigenous communities.
UAII proudly showcased our culture and raised awareness on Hollywood Blvd with:
– Two beautifully designed floats
– Two stunning convertibles
– The UAII health van
– Our drum and dance group in full regalia
We also took the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the issue of MMIP (Missing and Murdered Indigenous People) while celebrating the strength and resilience of our culture.
The parade was a truly historic event, and we’re excited to share it with a wider audience when it airs on The CW on December 14th. Don’t miss this chance to relive a powerful evening of cultural pride and community.
Thank you to everyone who supported us on this unforgettable night. Together, we continue to make strides in amplifying Indigenous voices and celebrating our traditions.
