Mission Statement

To Provide quality health care access to clinical services, case management and education to the American Indian/Alaska Native Community residing in the greater Los Angeles area while respecting individuality and promoting health and well-being in a culturally sensitive manner.

Vision Statement

Will continue to provide and expand culturally sensitive health care services for the American Indian/Alaska Native community, empower individuals to be in control of their own health, and improve the quality of life for present and future generations.

The Health Clinic provides general health care services, acute illness treatment, medication renewal, physical examinations, pregnancy testing, STD/STI detection and treatment, pap smears, mammogram referrals, and contraception prescriptions. SERVICES

Health Clinic provides free health services to qualifying American Indians and Alaskan Natives. We currently accept MediCal and Medicare insurances.  Men, women, and teens seeking family planning and sexually transmitted disease testing services may qualify for insurance coverage under the FamilyPACT program. The clinic also participates in the state’s Vaccine For Children program.

During the registration process, eligibility for free services or insurance coverage will be determined, so don’t hesitate to seek the care you need.

Welcome to UAII Community Clinic. We look forward to serving your health needs.  Before your first appointment, you will need to register with UAII.  During the registration process, your eligibility for services will be determined.   We will also have you fill out a health assessment screening form.  All of this information is needed to better serve your health needs and will be kept confidential.

UAII Health Clinic takes a very holistic and integrated approach to health care. We offer access to a comprehensive care team all working together to promote and support the physical, behavioral, and spiritual well-being of our urban Los Angeles AI/AN community.

The Clinic is open Wednesdays through Fridays, but you can call any weekday schedule an appointment. Walk-ins and same day appointments may be available, and will be accommodated whenever possible.
