Gabriel Ramirez

Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, my parents come from rural regions of Mexico. I am an alumnus of California State University of Los Angeles, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and Chicano/a Latino/a Studies. As a member of this team, I received additional training to serve as our department’s Inclusivity Advocate. Being a part of an underrepresented community in Los Angeles, has inspired my life’s mission to address the social determinants of health within our community.
