Heroes Work at UAII

BY UAII

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]UAII welcomed our esteemed staff members for a drive-through luncheon on Tuesday, April 13th. The event was themed Heroes Work at UAII and it featured terrific music, balloon decorations provided by a local Native business, and some delicious food. Staff members drove to our new location on Temple street where they continued to practice social distancing and pandemic protocols.

One-Year Anniversary

As we continue to work through the pandemic, we recently celebrated an anniversary that we hadn’t ever planned on celebrating – the one-year anniversary of the Safer at Home orders. Throughout the pandemic, our staff has adapted to many unforeseen challenges in order to address the evolving needs of our members. Our staff has met every obstacle, and has not only continued to provide vital resources and services but has also hired new workers during this time of need. We’ve continued to roll out education and outreach to the community, along with providing vital vaccinations.

Our senior leadership team was joined by Board Member Keith Veille in passing out pre-ordered lunches to each staff member. Our organization appreciates our entire staff – true heroes – for their commitment and service to our community throughout this crisis. We know that this has been a challenging time for everyone, and at times morale can get low due to the stress and grief of working through a pandemic no one could prepare for. Our staff is our greatest asset and we value their work.

UAII Appreciates Our Dedicated Staff!

On behalf of our entire organization – from our CEO, Luis Cervantes, to each of our senior leadership team – we want to share our gratitude and appreciation of all of our staff members. Thank you, UAII!
