Hesci! Vinecea Edwards, cvhocefketv. Este Mvskokvlket owis. I am a proud enrolled and voting member of the Mvskoke (Creek) People! As a third generation descendent of the BIA American Indian Urban Relocation program, which landed our ancestors in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, it has become my mission to advocate and serve Indigenous communities everywhere.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from UC Davis. Following my undergraduate studies, I worked as a consultant, structuring and negotiating valuable partnerships in the non-profit, tech, international business, and fashion sectors. As the Business Consultant for the lifestyle brand COCOCOZY, I played a key role in negotiating and creating partnerships with over 1000 brands and retailers for the first-of-its-kind affiliate marketing platform.
After passing the bar in California and New York, I accepted the opportunity to utilize my business knowledge, now paired with my legal education, to serve as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the streetwear brand HOMME + FEMME LA. I successfully developed the company’s Intellectual Property Profile and Fashion Business Compliance Protocol and negotiated brand collaboration with Eddie Bauer, Churchill Downs-Kentucky Derby, and the Creative Arts Agency.
I’m thrilled to be the Director of Business Development for United American Indian Involvement, where I can utilize my passion and expertise to create meaningful corporate and community partnerships that empower Indigenous communities.
