Jessica Dixon is from The Chickasaw and Cherokee Nations of Oklahoma. Although she has lived in California for the past 50 years, Oklahoma will always be her home. Jessica began working at United American Indian Involvement (Robert Sundance Family Wellness Center) in 2002 and has had the opportunity to serve in several departments throughout her 23 years with the organization. During this time, she has gained a deeper understanding of our culture, making this journey both meaningful and fulfilling. Jessica currently serves as The People’s Store Manager.
She is a certified State and California Public Notary for UAII and has also completed the State of California Food Safety Certification Training. Our community has a welcoming place to gather and connect, supported by a dedicated staff that continuously works to expand, strengthen, and enhance vital programs and services for our people. She is proud to be part of UAII.
We provide access to culturally-sensitive healthcare, clinical services, case management, and health education.
We offer evidence-based and culturally appropriate programs for substance use, workforce development, elder services, and much more.
Since our founding, we’ve delivered programs that promote the growth and well-being of our youth while passing on our cultural knowledge and tribal values.
Whether it’s your time, money, or expertise, there are many ways to help us provide the critical services and resources our native communities need.
