Christine Kamatani, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience working in the Urban AI/AN community in Los Angeles. She began her journey with UAII in 2006, overseeing clinical services and grant management for the Robert Sundance Family Wellness Center.
Chris’ professional background also includes the provision of mental health services for AI/AN children and families involved in LA County’s foster care system. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
We provide access to culturally-sensitive healthcare, clinical services, case management, and health education.
We offer evidence-based and culturally appropriate programs for substance use, workforce development, elder services, and much more.
Since our founding, we’ve delivered programs that promote the growth and well-being of our youth while passing on our cultural knowledge and tribal values.
